I, MARK BUTLER, Minister for Mental Health and Ageing, make these Principles under section 96-1 of the Aged Care Act 1997.

1 Name of Principles
These Principles are the User Rights Amendment Principles 2012 (No. 4).
2 Commencement
These Principles commence on the day after they are registered.
3 Amendment of User Rights Principles 1997
Schedule 1 amends the User Rights Principles 1997.
Schedule 1 Amendment
(section 3)
[1] Subsection 23.3 (1), definition of authorised body
substitute
authorised body means:
(a)for Division 3 of Part 2 — a body that has been paid an advocacy or community visitors grant; or
(b) for Division 2 of Part 3 — a body that has been paid an advocacy grant.
