1—Short title

These regulations may be cited as the Urban Renewal (Riverbank Authority Dissolution) Regulations 2018.

2—Commencement

These regulations come into operation on the day on which they are made.

3—Dissolution of Riverbank Authority

1. The Riverbank Authority, established by the Housing and Urban Development (Administrative Arrangements) (Riverbank Authority) Regulations 2014, is dissolved.

2. The assets, rights and liabilities of the Riverbank Authority immediately before its dissolution are transferred to the URA.

4—References

A reference to the Riverbank Authority in any instrument or contract, agreement or other document will have effect as if it were a reference to the URA.

Schedule 1—Revocation of Housing and Urban Development (Administrative Arrangements) (Riverbank Authority) Regulations 2014

The Housing and Urban Development (Administrative Arrangements) (Riverbank Authority) Regulations 2014 are revoked.

Note—

As required by section 10AA(2) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978, the Minister has certified that, in the Minister's opinion, it is necessary or appropriate that these regulations come into operation as set out in these regulations.
