The Parliament of Victoria enacts as follows:
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Act is to revise the Statute
Law of Victoria.
2. Commencement
(1) Subject to sub-section (2), this Act comes into operation on the day after the day on which it receives the Royal Assent.
(2) The following items in Schedule 1 are deemed to have come into operation on the following dates—
(a) item 1.3 on 1 July 1997;
