LICENCE AREA PLAN - DARWIN RADIO
This plan for radio broadcasting services in the Darwin area of the Northern Territory is made under subsection 26(1) of the Broadcasting Services Act 1992.
Thirteen national radio broadcasting services, two commercial radio broadcasting services, one community radio broadcasting service and six open narrowcasting radio services are to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 2.1 are set out in Schedule Two and Attachments 2.2 - 2.27 to this plan.
Two community radio broadcasting services are to be available in the area described at Attachment 3.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 3.1 are set out in Schedule Three and Attachments 3.2 - 3.3 to this plan.
One community radio broadcasting service is to be available in the area described at Attachment 4.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 4.1 are set out in Schedule Four and Attachments 4.2 - 4.6 to this plan.
Two community radio broadcasting services are to be available in the area described at Attachment 5.1 to this plan with the use of the broadcasting services bands. The characteristics, including technical specifications, of the services that are to be available in the area described at Attachment 5.1 are set out in Schedule Five and Attachments 5.2 - 5.4 to this plan.
A reference in this plan to a schedule or an attachment includes reference to a schedule or attachment as amended from time to time.
