Juries (Fees, Remuneration and Allowances)
(Amendment) Regulations 2003
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to increase the fees payable by a party requiring a civil case in the Supreme Court and in the County Court to be tried by a jury.
2. Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 90 of the Juries Act 2000.
3. Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 16 June
2003.

4. Fees for civil juries
In regulation 4 of the Juries (Fees, Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations 20011—
(a)
in paragraph (a), for "$455.00" substitute "$469.00";
(b)
in paragraph (b), for "$55.00" substitute "$57.00";
(c)
in paragraph (c), for "$110.00" substitute "$113.00".
5. Administrative expenses for refund of fees
In regulation 5 of the Juries (Fees, Remuneration and Allowances) Regulations 2001 for "$45.00" substitute "$46.00".
