Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Amendment) Regulations 2004

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Regulations 2001 to mirror Commonwealth provisions for fees.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 152 of the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 23 February 2004.

4.Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Regulations 2001[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5.Fees for Register extracts, documents or certificates

In regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations—

(a)in sub-regulation (1), for "$2" substitute "$3";

(b)in sub-regulation (2), for "$30" substitute "$39".

6.Fees for release of information and samples

In regulation 10(1)(a) and (b) and (2)(a) and (b) of the Principal Regulations, for "$25" substitute "$33".

7.New Schedule 2 substituted

For Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations substitute—
