Consumer Affairs (Product Safety) (Lighters) (Amendment) Regulations 2004

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend a definition in the Consumer Affairs (Product Safety) (Lighters) Regulations 1998.

2.Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under section 165 and item 4 of Schedule 3 to the Fair Trading Act 1999.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 June 2004.

4.Definition of "Commonwealth Regulations"

In regulation 3 of the Consumer Affairs (Product Safety) (Lighters) Regulations 1998[1], in the definition of "Commonwealth Regulations", for "on the date these Regulations are made" substitute "from time to time".
