Road Safety Act 1986

Road Safety (Drivers) (Miscellaneous Fees) Regulations 2004

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999—

(a)to increase search and extract fees; and

(b)to increase certain other miscellaneous general fees.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2004.

4.Increase in certain general fees

In Schedule 2 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999[1]—

(a)in item 3, in Column 2, for "$21.50" substitute "$22.00";

(b)in item 4, in Column 2, for "$10.00" substitute "$10.20";

(c)in item 5, in Column 2, for "$17.00" substitute "$17.30";

(d)in item 7, in Column 2, for "$10.00" substitute "$10.20";

(e)in item 8(a), in Column 2, for "$34.00" substitute "$34.70";

(f)in item 8(b), in Column 2, for "$31.00" substitute "$31.70";

(g)in item 9(a), in Column 2, for "$14.00" substitute "$14.30";

(h)in item 9(b), in Column 2, for "$13.00" substitute "$13.20";

(i)in item 10, in Column 2, for "$17.00" substitute "$17.30";

(j)in item 11, in Column 2, for "$17.00" substitute "$17.30";

(k)in item 12, in Column 2, for "$14.00" substitute "$14.30.".

5.Increase in search and extract fees

In Schedule 3 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999—

(a)in item 1, for "$7.20" substitute "$7.30";

(b)in item 2, for "$7.20" substitute "$7.30";

(c)in item 3, for "$13.30" substitute "$13.60";

(d)in item 4, for "$7.20" substitute "$7.30";

(e)in item 5(a), for "$7.20" substitute "$7.30";

(f)in item 5(b), for "$13.30" substitute "$13.60".
