Fisheries (Levies) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Fisheries (Levies) Regulations 2005 to correct levy amounts which are to be included in Schedule 12 of the Fisheries Regulations 1998.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under sections 151 and 153 of the Fisheries Act 1995.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 30 March 2005.

4.Amendment to Regulation 6 of the Fisheries (Levies) Regulations 2005

In Regulation 6 of the Fisheries (Levies) Regulations 2005[1] in proposed Table B to be inserted in Schedule 12 of the Fisheries Regulations 1998 for the items relating to the Abalone Fishery Access Licence (Eastern Zone)—

(a)in Column 4 for "$3453" substitute "$450";

(b)in Column 5 for "$450" substitute "$1839";

(c)in Column 7 for "$6312" substitute "$4698".
