Country Fire Authority (Charges) Regulations 2005

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004 to increase the charges for—

(a)emergency attendances by brigades; and

(b)the monitoring of fire alarm systems.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 110 of the Country Fire Authority Act 1958.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 June 2005.

4.Increased charges for emergency attendances

In regulation 97(2) of the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004[1]—

(a)in paragraph (a), for "$351.23" substitute "$359.13";

(b)in paragraph (b), for "$246.22" substitute "$251.76";

(c)in paragraph (c), for "$140.03" substitute "$143.18".

5.Increased charges for monitoring fire alarm systems

In regulation 99 of the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004—

(a)in paragraph (a), for "$211.20" substitute "$215.95";

(b)in paragraph (b), for "$147.03" substitute "$150.34".
