Road Safety Act 1986

Road Safety (Drivers) (Fees) Regulations 2005

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999 to increase certain general, search and extract fees by 2×5%.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3.Commencement

The Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2005.

4.Increases in general fees

In the Table in Schedule 2 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999[1]—

(a)in item 1, for "$139.00" substitute "$142.40";

(b)in item 2, for "$41.00" substitute "$42.00";

(c)in item 3, for "$22.00" substitute "$22.50";

(d)in item 4, for "$10.20" substitute "$10.40";

(e)in item 5, for "$17.30" substitute "$17.70";

(f)in item 7, for "$10.20" substitute "$10.40";

(g)in item 8(a), for "$34.70" substitute "$35.50";

(h)in item 8(b), for "$31.70" substitute "$32.40";

(i)in item 9(a), for "$14.30" substitute "$14.60";

(j)in item 9(b), for "$13.20" substitute "$13.50";

(k)in items 10 and 11, for "$17.30" substitute "$17.70";

(l)in item 12, for "$14.30" substitute "$14.60".

5.Increases in search and extract fees

In the Table in Schedule 3 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999—

(a)in items 1 and 2, for "$7.30" substitute "$7.40";

(b)in item 3, for "$13.60" substitute "$13.90";

(c)in items 4 and 5(a), for "$7.30" substitute "$7.40";

(d)in item 5(b), for "$13.60" substitute "$13.90".
