Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Regulations 2004 to update a reference to a prescribed occupational health and safety law.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 152 of the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1982.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2005.

4.Prescribed occupational health and safety laws

For regulation 635(d) of the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Regulations 2004[1] substitute—

"(d)the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.".
