National Parks (Fees and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2001 to increase fees payable for entry to national parks.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 48 of the National Parks Act 1975.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 December 2005.

4.Mornington Peninsula National Park–Point Nepean

(1)In regulation 5 of the National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2001[1] the definition of "Mornington Peninsula National Park–Point Nepean" is revoked. 

(2)In regulation 8 of the National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2001 for "Mornington Peninsula National Park–Point Nepean" (wherever occurring) substitute "Point Nepean National Park".

5.National parks annual pass

In regulation 11(2) of the National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2001, for "$66.00" substitute "$67.60".

6.New Schedules 2, 3 and 4 substituted

For Schedules 2, 3 and 4 to the National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2001 substitute—
