Transfer of Land Act 1958

Transfer of Land (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2005

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase certain fees and amounts payable to the Registrar under the Transfer of Land Act 1958.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 120 of the Transfer of Land Act 1958.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2006.

4.Increases in specific fees and amounts

In Schedule 2 to the Transfer of Land (Fees) Regulations 2004[1], in the Table—

(a)in Item 12, for—

(i)"$4.95" substitute "$5.07";

(ii)"$8.55" substitute "$8.75";

(iii)"$5.45" substitute "$5.58";

(iv)"$9.15" substitute "$9.35";

(b)in Item 14, for—

(i)"$1.95" substitute "$1.99";

(ii)"$5.90" substitute "$6.00";

(iii)"$3.30" substitute "$3.38";

(iv)"$6.15" substitute "$6.30";

(c)in Item 84, for—

(i)"$6.00" substitute "$6.15";

(ii)"$7.85" substitute "$8.04";

(d)in Item 85, for—
