Corrections (Amendment) Regulations 2006

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Corrections Regulations 1998 as a consequence of changes to the power of the Adult Parole Board to cancel parole under section 77(5) of the Corrections Act 1986.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 112 of the Corrections Act 1986.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 23 February 2006.

4.Amendment of parole order

In Form 1 in Schedule 4 to the Corrections Regulations 1998[1]—

(a)for "an offence committed" substitute


"one or more offences committed";

(b)for "19" substitute "20".
