Estate Agents (General, Accounts and Audit) (Amendment) Regulations 2006
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Estate Agents (General, Accounts and Audit) Regulations 1997 to prescribe penalties for certain provisions.
2.Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 99 of the Estate Agents Act 1980.
3.Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 15 August 2006.
4.Trust receipts
At the foot of regulation 23(1) of the Estate Agents (General, Accounts and Audit) Regulations 1997[1] insert—
"Penalty:5 penalty units.".
5.Trust account ledger
At the foot of regulation 27(1) of the Estate Agents (General, Accounts and Audit) Regulations 1997 insert—
"Penalty:5 penalty units.".
