National Parks (Fees and Charges) (Amendment) Regulations 2006

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2001 to increase certain fees and charges payable for entry to national parks.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 48 of the National Parks Act 1975.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on

14 September 2006.

4.Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the National Parks (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2001[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5.Fees for park entry—day passes

In regulation 8(7)(e) of the Principal Regulations, for "the Secretary of Parks Victoria" substitute "the Secretary or Parks Victoria".

6.National parks annual pass

In regulation 11(2) of the Principal Regulations, for "$67.60" substitute "$69.20".

7.Schedules 2, 3 and 4 substituted

For Schedules 2, 3 and 4 to the Principal Regulations substitute—
