Country Fire Authority (Amendment) Regulations 2006

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's Deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004—

(a)to decrease the charges for emergency attendances by brigades; and

(b)to increase the charges for the monitoring of fire alarm systems.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 110 of the Country Fire Authority Act 1958.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 30 September 2006.

4.Decreased charges for emergency attendances

In regulation 97(2) of the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004[1]—

(a)in paragraph (a), for "$368.11" substitute "$334.65";

(b)in paragraph (b), for "$258.05" substitute "$240.45";

(c)in paragraph (c), for "$146.76" substitute "$136.76".

5.Increased charges for monitoring of fire alarm systems

In regulation 99 of the Country Fire Authority Regulations 2004—

(a)in paragraph (a), for "$221.35" substitute "$226.88";

(b)in paragraph (b), for "$154.10" substitute "$157.95".
