Planning and Environment Act 1987

Planning and Environment (Amendment) Regulations 2006

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to amend the Planning and Environment Regulations 2005 as a consequence of the enactment of the Infringements Act 2006 and to make other minor amendments.

2.Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 202 of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

3.Miscellaneous amendments

In the Planning and Environment Regulations 2005[1]—

(a)in regulation 1, paragraph (j) is revoked;

(b)in regulation 30(1), after "section 52(1)(d)" insert "or 57B".

4.Applications for review under section 79

For regulation 31(1) of the Planning and Environment Regulations 2005 substitute—

"(1)For the purposes of section 79 of the Act, the prescribed time is 60 days.".

5.Revocations

Regulations 50 and 51 of the Planning and Environment Regulations 2005 are revoked.
