Transport Act 1983

Transport (Conduct) (Amendment) Regulations 2006

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005 to revoke certain regulations as a result of amendments made to the Transport Act 1983 by the Rail Safety Act 2006.

2.Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 56 and 249B of the Transport Act 1983.

3.Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2007.

4.Revocation of certain regulations

Regulations 37, 38, 43, 44, 45, 50, 51, 52 and 53 of the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005[1] are revoked.

5.Revocation of Schedule

The Schedule to the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005 is revoked.
