Road Safety Act 1986

Road Safety (General) (Prescribed Devices Amendment) Regulations 2008

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (General) Regulations 1999 to provide for the use of speed measuring devices.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Use of radar devices

In regulation 310(d) of the Road Safety (General) Regulations 1999[1], for "and the Kustom Silver Eagle" substitute ", the Kustom Silver Eagle, the Silver Eagle II, the Stalker Dual DSR and the Directional Golden Eagle II".

4Revocation

Regulation 8(b) of the Road Safety (General) (Prescribed Devices and Other Amendments) Regulations 2007[2] is revoked.
