Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Prohibited Procedures) Regulations 2008
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to remove animal cruelty offences relating to tail docking of dogs and firing of horses.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 42 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1986.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 20 March 2008.
4Revocation of prohibition on tail docking of dogs and firing of horses
Regulations 7A and 7B of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Regulations 1997[1] are revoked.
