Road Safety (Vehicles) (Learner Approved Motor Cycle Scheme Amendment) Regulations 2008
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999 to permit registration labels to indicate learner approved motor cycles.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2008.
4Registration labels
After regulation 223(2) of the Road Safety (Vehicles) Regulations 1999[1] insert—
'(2A)A registration label may include the code "LAM" to indicate that a motor cycle is a learner approved motor cycle within the meaning of the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999.'.
