Road Safety (Drivers) (Fees Amendment) Regulations 2008

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999 to increase certain fees by 3%.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2008.

4General fees increased

In Schedule 2 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999[1]—

(a)in item 3, for "$23.50" substitute "$24.20";

(b)in item 4, for "$10.80" substitute "$11.10";

(c)in item 5, for "$18.50" substitute "$19.00";

(d)in item 7, for "$10.80" substitute "$11.10";

(e)in item 8(a), for "$37.20" substitute "$38.30";

(f)in item 8(b), for "$34.00" substitute "$35.00";

(g)in item 9(a), for "$15.30" substitute "$15.70";

(h)in item 9(b), for "$14.10" substitute "$14.50";

(i)in items 10 and 11, for "$18.50" substitute "$19.00";

(j)in item 12, for "$15.30" substitute "$15.70".

5Search and extract fees increased

In Schedule 3 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999—

(a)in items 1, 2, 4 and 5(a), for "$7.60" substitute "$7.80";

(b)in items 3 and 5(b), for "$14.50" substitute "$14.90".
