Transport Act 1983

Transport (Infringements) Amendment (Obsolete Offences) Regulations 2008

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999 by revoking references to redundant offences relating to the operation of tow trucks.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 215 of the Transport Act 1983.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2009.

4Amendment of Schedule 3

In Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 1999[1]—

(a)the heading "Tow Trucks" is revoked; and

(b)all entries after that heading are revoked.
