Road Safety (Drivers) (Peer Passenger Restrictions) Interim Amendment Regulations 2009

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to revoke regulations 3(2) and 6 of the Road Safety (Drivers) (Peer Passenger Restrictions) Interim Regulations 2008 so as to remove the current expiry date.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 15 March 2009.

4Revocation of regulations 3(2) and 6

Regulations 3(2) and 6 of the Road Safety (Drivers) (Peer Passenger Restrictions) Interim Regulations 2008[1] are revoked.

5Expiry

These Regulations expire on 1 December 2009.
