Road Safety Act 1986

Road Safety (Drivers) Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2009

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999 to increase certain fees by 3%.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2009.

4General fees increased

In Schedule 2 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999[1]—

(a)in item 3, for "$24.20" substitute "$24.90";

(b)in item 4, for "$11.10" substitute "$11.40";

(c)in item 5, for "$19.00" substitute "$19.50";

(d)in item 7, for "$11.10" substitute "$11.40";

(e)in item 8(a), for "$38.30" substitute "$39.40";

(f)in item 8(b), for "$35.00" substitute "$36.00";

(g)in item 9(a), for "$15.70" substitute "$16.10";

(h)in item 9(b), for "$14.50" substitute "$14.90";

(i)in items 10 and 11, for "$19.00" substitute "$19.50";

(j)in item 12, for "$15.70" substitute "$16.10".

5Search and extract fees increased

In Schedule 3 to the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 1999—

(a)in items 1, 2, 4 and 5(a), for "$7.80" substitute "$8.00";

(b)in items 3 and 5(b), for "$14.90" substitute "$15.30".
