Chattel Securities (Registration) Amendment Regulations 2009

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Chattel Securities (Registration) Regulations 2008 to increase certain fees by 3%.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 28 of the Chattel Securities Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2009.

4Fee increases

In column 4 of the Schedule to the Chattel Securities (Registration) Regulations 2008[1]—

(a)in item 1(a), for "$5.70" substitute "$5.80"; and

(b)in item 1(b), for "$6.40" substitute "$6.50"; and

(c)in item 1(c), for "$17.15" substitute "$17.60"; and

(d)in item 2(b), for "$4.80" substitute "$4.90"; and

(e)in items 2(c), 3 and 4, for "$5.00" substitute "$5.10"; and

(f)in item 5(a), for "$7.75" substitute "$8.00"; and

(g)in item 5(b), for "$13.75" substitute "$14.10"; and

(h)in item 6(b)(ii), for "$4.95" substitute "$5.10"; and

(i)in item 6(c), for "$15.25" substitute "$15.70".
