Crown Proceedings Amendment Regulations 2009
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Crown Proceedings Regulations 2002 to make the forms consistent with provisions in the Criminal Procedure Act 2009.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5(3)(e) and 6(8) of the Crown Proceedings Act 1958.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2010.
4Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Crown Proceedings Regulations 2002[1] are called the Principal Regulations.
5Forms amended
(1)In Form 10 of the Principal Regulations, for "a presentment—" substitute "an indictment—".
(2)In Form 11 of the Principal Regulations, for "appearance" substitute "attendance".
(3)In Form 12 of the Principal Regulations, for "appearance" substitute "attendance".
(4)In Form 13 of the Principal Regulations, for "appearance" substitute "attendance".
(5)In Form 19 of the Principal Regulations, for "a presentment" substitute "an indictment".
