Road Safety (General) Amendment Regulations 2010
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are to amend the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2009 to—
(a)require an approved health professional to comply with procedures to be followed after a blood sample has been taken under section 56 of the Road Safety Act 1986; and
(b)clarify the prescribed infringement offence relating to a bicyclist failing to give a signal.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.
3Procedures after taking blood samples
In regulation 11(3) of the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2009[1], after "doctor" insert
"or approved health professional".
4Schedule 7—traffic infringements
In column 4 of item 262 in Schedule 7 to the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2009, omit
"46(1), 53(1), (2), (3) and".
