Chattel Securities (Registration) Amendment (Fees) Regulations 2010

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Chattel Securities (Registration) Regulations 2008 to increase certain fees by 2·25 per cent.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 28 of the Chattel Securities Act 1987.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2010.

4Fees increased

In column 4 of the Schedule to the Chattel Securities (Registration) Regulations 2008[1]—

(a)in item 1(a), for "$5.80" substitute "$5.90";

(b)in item 1(b), for "$6.50" substitute "$6.60";

(c)in item 1(c), for "$17.60" substitute "$18.00";

(d)in item 2(a), for "$2.80" substitute "$3.00";

(e)in item 2(b), for "$4.90" substitute "$5.00";

(f)in items 2(c), 3 and 4, for "$5.10" substitute "$5.20";

(g)in item 5(a), for "$8.00" substitute "$8.10";

(h)in item 5(b), for "$14.10" substitute "$14.40";

(i)in item 6(b)(i), for "$0.85" substitute "$1.00";

(j)in item 6(b)(ii), for "$5.10" substitute "$5.20";

(k)in item 6(c), for "$15.70" substitute "$16.00".
