Transport (Infringements) Amendment Regulations 2010

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives

The objectives of these Regulations are to amend the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010—

(a)to change the offence code for permitting the installing or fitting of equipment in or on or fitting equipment to a taxi-cab without written approval; and

(b)to change the descriptions of other offences; and

(c)to correct an incorrect reference; and

(d)to omit a transport infringement offence.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 215 of the Transport Act1983.

3Transport infringements

(1)In item 47 of Table 3 in Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010[1], for "Exiting or entering through wrong doorway" substitute "Exiting or entering through wrong doorway or other than through entrance or exit provided for passengers or the public".

(2)In Table 3 in Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010, item 60 is revoked.

(3)In item 64 of Table 4 in Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010, for "an vehicle across tramway tracks" substitute "across tramway tracks an overdimensional vehicle".

(4)In item 151 of Table 8 in Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010, for "2364" substitute "3264".

(5)In item 154 of Table 8 in Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010, for "14(1)" substitute "14(2)".
