Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998

Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (Amendment No. 1) Rules 2010

The Rules Committee established by section 150 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 makes the following Rules:

1Object

The object of these Rules is to further provide for allocation of Acts to VCAT Lists.

2Authorising provisions

These Rules are made under section 157 of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Act 1998 and all other enabling powers.

3Commencement

These Rules come into operation on 30 July 2010.

4Allocation of functions—General List

(1)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008[1], after item 1.28 insert—

"1.28AMajor Sporting Events Act 2009;".

(2)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 1.33 insert—

"1.33ARelationships Act 2008, Part 2.4 of Chapter 2;".

(3)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 1.42 insert—

"1.42AUnclaimed Money Act 2008, sections 59, 61 and 63;".

5Revocation of Acts from General List

(1)Item 1.21 in Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008 is revoked.

(2)Item 1.36 in Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008 is revoked.

6Allocation of functions—Occupational and Business Regulation List

(1)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.4 insert—

"3.4ABuilding Act 1993 Division 12 of Part 12A;".

(2)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.6 insert—

"3.6ADairy Act 2000;".

(3)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.12 insert—

"3.12AFundraising Act 1998;".

(4)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.16 insert—

"3.16ALocal Government Act 1989 sections 30, 81D, 81E, 81J(1)(b), 81K, 81L, 81Q and 81R;".

(5)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.21 insert—

"3.21AOccupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007;".

(6)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.23 insert—

"3.23APipelines Act 2005 sections 64, 83 and 182;".

(7)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.29 insert—

"3.29ARail Safety Act 2006 Part 7;".

(8)In Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after item 3.38 insert—

"3.38AVictoria State Emergency Service Regulations 2006;".

7Allocation of functions—Domestic Building List

In item 8.1 of Schedule 1 to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal Rules 2008, after "1993" insert "except Division 12 of Part 12A".
