Assisted Reproductive Treatment Amendment Regulations 2010

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Regulations 2009 as a result of the enactment of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009, which implements the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law as a law in Victoria.

2Authorising provisions

The Regulations are made under sections 124 and 125 of the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Act 2008.

3Schedule 5—Information to be kept in Central Register

In Schedule 5 of the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Regulations 2009[1], for subclause (4)(b)(iii) substitute—

"(iii)the registration number or code given to the doctor by the Medical Board of Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law;".
