Surveying (Registration Fees) Amendment Regulations 2010

The Administrator of the State of Victoria as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Surveying (Registration Fees) Regulations 2005 to—

(a)increase certain fees payable to the Board under the Surveying Act 2004; and

(b)prescribe a fee that may be imposed for registration as a non-practising surveyor under the Act; and

(c)prescribe a fee that may be imposed for renewal of registration as a non-practising surveyor under the Act; and

(d)convert the fees payable to the Board under the Surveying Act 2004 to monetary units.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 63 of the Surveying Act 2004.

3Commencement

(1)These Regulations, except for regulation 6, come into operation on 7 October 2010.

(2)Regulation 6 comes into operation on 1 February 2011.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Surveying (Registration Fees) Regulations 2005[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5New Schedule substituted

For the Schedule to the Principal Regulations substitute—
