Working with Children Act 2005

Working with Children Amendment Regulations 2010

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Working with Children Regulations 2006 to revoke the prescribed forms of working with children check card and make other related amendments.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 49 of the Working with Children Act 2005.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 December 2010.

4Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Working with Children Regulations 2006[1] are called the Principal Regulations.

5Amendment of objective

Regulation 1(d) of the Principal Regulations is revoked.

6Regulation 6 revoked

Regulation 6 of the Principal Regulations is revoked.

7Application fees

In the Table in regulation 7 of the Principal Regulations, for "a working with children check card" substitute "an assessment notice document".

8Schedules 3 and 4 revoked

Schedules 3 and 4 to the Principal Regulations are revoked.
