Accident Compensation Further Amendment Regulations 2010
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Accident Compensation Regulations 2001 as a consequence of amendments made by the Accident Compensation Amendment Act 2010 and the Transport Accident and Accident Compensation Legislation Amendment Act 2010 to the Accident Compensation Act 1985 and the Accident Compensation (WorkCover Insurance) Act 1993.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 253 of the Accident Compensation Act 1985.
3Commencement
(1)These Regulations, except regulation 7, come into operation on 1 November 2010.
(2)Regulation 7 comes into operation on 1 July 2011.
4Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Accident Compensation Regulations 2001[1] are called the Principal Regulations.
5Prescribed number of hours
In regulation 10 of the Principal Regulations, for "section 5A(6)(e) of" substitute "items 3, 5, 6 and 8 of Schedule 1A to".
6Regulation 8 revoked
Regulation 8 of the Principal Regulations is revoked.
7Amounts not remuneration
In regulation 13 of the Principal Regulations, for "performance of work and not remuneration for the purposes of sections 6(2), 8(2) and 9(2)(d)" substitute "provision of labour and which is not deemed to be remuneration pursuant to section 6(3) or 8(4)(c)(i)".
8Schedule 1 amended
In Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations, for the words and expressions commencing "It is an offence" and ending "aiding or assisting in its execution." substitute—
"It is an offence under section 240A(4) of the Accident Compensation Act 1985, punishable by fine, for a person to obstruct or hinder a person employed or acting in the execution or under the authority of this warrant or aiding or assisting in the execution of this warrant.
It is an offence under section 240A(5) of the Accident Compensation Act 1985, punishable by fine or imprisonment, for a person to refuse to permit a search or seizure authorised by this warrant.
It is an offence under section 240A(6) of the Accident Compensation Act 1985, punishable by fine or imprisonment, for a person to assault or attempt to assault a person employed or acting in the execution or under the authority of this warrant or aiding or assisting in the execution of this warrant.".
9Schedule 2 revoked
Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations is revoked.
10Amendment of Schedule 3
In column 1 of the Table in Schedule 3 to the Principal Regulations, for "tree fellers" substitute "timber contractors".
