Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Amendment Regulations 2011

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Regulations 2008 to include GolfPitStop Pty Ltd as a specified exempt person for the purposes of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 31 of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers Act 1989.

3New specified exempt person

After regulation 8(2) of the Second-Hand Dealers and Pawnbrokers (Exemption) Regulations 2008[1] insert—

"(3)GolfPitStop Pty Ltd ACN 143 185 175 is exempted from the application of section 19 of the Act.".
