Plumbing Amendment Regulations 2011
The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Plumbing Regulations 2008 to prescribe a class or classes of plumbing work or specialised plumbing work that is required to be eligible to be registered or licensed in a particular class of specialised plumbing work.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under section 221ZZZV of the Building Act 1993.
3Regulation 37A substituted
For regulation 37A of the Plumbing Regulations 2008[1] substitute—
37APrescribed class or classes of plumbing work or specialised plumbing work required to carry out specialised plumbing work"
(1)For the purposes of section 221OA(1)(a) of the Act, the prescribed class or classes of plumbing work or specialised plumbing work required for registration in the class of specialised plumbing work set out in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 2A is the class or classes of plumbing work or specialised plumbing work set out in Column 3 of that Table corresponding to that class of specialised plumbing work.
(2)For the purposes of section 221N(1)(a) of the Act, the prescribed class or classes of plumbing work or specialised plumbing work required for a licence in the class of specialised plumbing work set out in Column 2 of the Table in Schedule 2A is the class or classes of plumbing work or specialised plumbing work set out in Column 4 of that Table corresponding to that class of specialised plumbing work.".
4Schedule 2A substituted
For Schedule 2A to the Plumbing Regulations 2008 substitute—

5Qualifications and experience requirements to carry out specialised classes of plumbing work
For Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the Plumbing Regulations 2008 substitute—
PART 2—QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN RESPECT OF CLASSES OF SPECIALISED PLUMBING WORK"
