Local Government (General) Amendment Regulations 2011

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Local Government (General) Regulations 2004 to make a consequential amendment as a result of amendments to the Local Government Act 1989 made by the Local Government and Planning Legislation Amendment Act 2010.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 243 of the Local Government Act 1989.

3Ordinary Return

For item 5 in Form 2 of the Schedule to the Local Government (General) Regulations 2004[1] substitute—

"5.Particulars of any gift of or above the amount or value of $500 received by you, either directly or indirectly, other than a gift received from a relative*** of yours or received as hospitality at an event or function you attended in an official capacity as the Mayor, a Councillor, a member of Council staff or a member of a special committee.".
