Public Health and Wellbeing Further Amendment Regulations 2011

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009 to prescribe Hepatitis C as a prescribed disease for the purposes of section 133 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 232 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.

3New Division 3A inserted

After Division 3 of Part 9 of the Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations 2009[1], insert

"Division 3A—Closure of court or tribunal

79APrescribed diseases—closure of court or tribunal

For the purposes of section 133 of the Act, Hepatitis C is a prescribed disease.".
