Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) (Infringements) Amendment Regulations 2011

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010 as a consequence of amendments to the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983 made by the Transport Legislation Amendment (Taxi Services Reform and Other Matters) Act 2011.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 215 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 August 2011.

4Transport Infringements

In items 132, 133, 135 and 136 of Table 7 in Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010[1], for "Director" substitute "licensing authority".
