Estate Agents (General, Accounts and Audit) Amendment Regulations 2011
The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objectives
The objectives of these Regulations are to amend the Estate Agents (General, Accounts and Audit) Regulations 2008—
(a)to make consequential amendments as a consequence of the enactment of the Consumer Affairs Legislation Amendment Act 2010; and
(b)to make other amendments as a consequence of the enactment of the Consumer Acts Amendment Act 2011.
2Authorising provision
These Regulations are made under section 99 of the Estate Agents Act1980.
3Commencement
These Regulations come into operation on 1 October 2011.
4Principal Regulations
In these Regulations, the Estate Agents (General, Accounts and Audit) Regulations 2008[1] are called the Principal Regulations.
5Amendments to regulation 4
In regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations—
(a)in the definition of authorised financial institution, for "section 60(6)", substitute "section 4(1)";
(b)in paragraph (c) of the definition of practising accountant, for "National Institute of Accountants" substitute "Institute of Public Accountants".
6Amendment to Schedule 2
In Section D in Form 2 of Schedule 2 to the Principal Regulations, for "National Institute of Accountants" substitute "Institute of Public Accountants".
