Transport (Conduct) and (Infringements) Amendment Regulations 2011

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

PART 1—PRELIMINARY

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005 and the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010 as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Integration Act 2010.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 56, 162, 215, 215G, 249B and 256 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Authorising provisions—Conduct

In regulation 2 of the Transport (Conduct) Regulations 2005,[1] for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983".

PART 3—TRANSPORT (INFRINGEMENTS) REGULATIONS 2010

4Objectives—Infringements

In regulation 1(f) of the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010,[2] for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983".

5Definitions

In regulation 5 of the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010, in the definition of the Act, for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983".

6Schedule 3

In Schedule 3 to the Transport (Infringements) Regulations 2010—

(a)in Column 2 of Table 1, for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983";

(b)in Column 2 of Table 2, for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983";

(c)in Column 2 of Table 3, for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983";
