Transport (Taxi-Cabs) Amendment Regulations 2011

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

PART 1—PRELIMINARY

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the following Regulations as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Integration Act 2010—

(a)the Transport (Taxi-cab Industry Accreditation) Regulations 2007;

(b)the Transport (Taxi-Cab Licences - Market and Trading) Regulations 2005;

(c)the Transport (Taxi-cab Network Service Provider Accreditation Exemptions) Regulations 2007;

(d)the Transport (Taxi-Cabs) Regulations 2005.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 137E, 162 and 256 of the Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983.

3Authorising provisions—Industry Accreditation

In regulation 2 of the Transport (Taxi-cab Industry Accreditation) Regulations 2007,[1] for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983".

4Definitions—Industry Accreditation

In regulation 4 of the Transport (Taxi-cab Industry Accreditation) Regulations 2007, in the definition of Act, for "Transport Act 1983" substitute "Transport (Compliance and Miscellaneous) Act 1983".
