Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) (Amendment No. 1) Rules 2011

The Chief Magistrate together with 2 Deputy Chief Magistrates jointly make the following Rules:

1Object

The object of these Rules is to amend the Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) Rules 2010 as a consequence of the commencement of the Civil Procedure Act 2010.

2Authorising provisions

These Rules are made under section 16 of the Magistrates' Court Act 1989 and all other enabling powers.

3Summary orders

(1)In Rule 2.04(f) of the Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) Rules 2010[1], for "statement;" substitute "statement.".

(2)Rule 2.04(g) of the Magistrates' Court (Miscellaneous Civil Proceedings) Rules 2010 is revoked.
