Road Safety (Drivers) Amendment (Fatigue Management) Regulations 2011

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009 in relation to the method of calculating the amount of time permitted to be worked by drivers of heavy vehicles.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Calculation of time

In regulation 89(3)(a) of the Road Safety (Drivers) Regulations 2009[1] omit

"calculating rest time and".
