Infringements Act 2006

Infringements (General) Amendment (Lodgeable Infringement Offences) Regulations 2012

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006—

(a)to prescribe certain infringement offences under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 and the Water Act1989 as lodgeable infringement offences for the purposes of the Infringements Act 2006; and

(b)to make other amendments of a minor or consequential nature to the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 168 of the Infringements Act 2006.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 13 April 2012.

4Schedule 1 amended

For item 9(b) of Schedule 1 to the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006[1] substitute

"(b)Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation;".

5Schedule 3 amended

(1)In item 6.1 of Schedule 3 to the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006, for "section 36(3)" substitute "section 36(3)(a) or 36(3)(b)".

(2)In item 7.2 of Schedule 3 to the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006, after "Sections" insert "54(11),".

(3)After item 7.4 of Schedule 3 to the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 insert

"7.4AClauses 25(2), 25(3), 25(4), 25(5), 25(6), 25(7), 25(9) and 26(3) of Schedule 3.".

(4)For item 12.13 of Schedule 3 to the Infringements (General) Regulations 2006 substitute

"12.13Subclause 10.1 of Water Restriction By‑Law 11/11.".
