Road Safety (General) Amendment (Infringement) Regulations 2012

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2009 to provide that the offence of entering a blocked crossing is an offence for which an infringement notice may be served.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 95 of the Road Safety Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2012.

4Schedule 7—Traffic infringements

In column 4 of item 154 of Schedule 7 to the Road Safety (General) Regulations 2009[1], after "RR 128" insert ", 128A".
