Racing (Specified Race-course) Amendment Regulations 2012

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Racing (Specified Race-course) Regulations 2006 to prescribe additional areas of land to be a specified race-course for the purposes of Division 5 of Part I of the Racing Act 1958.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 36 of the Racing Act 1958.

3Schedule amended

In the Schedule to the Racing (Specified Race-course) Regulations 2006[1], after item 42 insert—

"Item 42A—Melton Harness Racing and Entertainment Complex

The areas of land described in—

(a)Volume 10995 Folio 202;

(b)Volume 09428 Folio 493.".
